A man says he is expecting a big check from Las Vegas police after they used excessive force against him in a downtown bar.
It happened in 2014 at the Vanguard Lounge in downtown Las Vegas.
Video shows police officers hitting a man named Dominic Gennarino, who was 21 at the time.
A lawsuit was filed against the police department.
Gennarino's lawyer says that they have agreed to pay his client more than $31,000.
The county and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have not confirmed the settlement.
