Gary Adair Jr. has pled guilty to a charge of DUI resulting in death. His sentencing has been set for 9:30 a.m. July 21.

38-year-old Kadar Brown was changing a tire on U.S. 95 on St. Patrick's Day in 2014 when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Adair.

Since then, the trial for Adair has been delayed several times.

Brown's family has been very vocal about their frustration and Brown's mother punched Adair outside of a courtroom bathroom in November 2015 after learning that the trial had been delayed again.

Adair, who was 22 at the time of the incident, initially tried to claim that he had a seizure while driving. He eventually admitted to the police at the time that he had used heroin and several prescription drugs the day of the crash.
