A homeowner said a palm tree caught on fire from a lightning strike Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters responded around 5:30 p.m. to the 3400 block of Beam Drive, near Warm Springs Road and Valley View Boulevard.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out before it spread to any nearby houses.
