It's going to be windy today in Las Vegas!
According to meteorologist Justin Bruce, afternoon gusts could hit 35mph.
Of course that means that it will feel colder than it actually is in the valley today.
It is currently in the mid 40s in most neighborhoods, but feels like it's in the 30s.
By this afternoon, we will be in the low and mid 60s. However, it will definitely feel cooler.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for the Lake Mead and Colorado River Valley because of the potential for 50mph gusts.
The good news is that the winds will calm down after today and the temps will keep on climbing.
We are expecting upper 60s and low 70s for Saturday and Sunday. It will be the first time that the temperatures have hit the 70s since November.
The next storm system is expected on Sunday night. It will bring more wind, a slight chance of rain, and cooler temps next week.
