The horse with Las Vegas police's mounted unit went through some special training Wednesday ahead of this weekend's Laughlin River Run.
Officers says it's important to get horses familiar with the sound of motorcycles that will be found at the annual rally in Laughlin. They say the rumble is a lot different for a horse than the sounds they hear at other big events like New Year's Eve.
The mounted unit was created back in 1998.
