A Las Vegas man found a photo album on the side of the road, filled with pictures of a former Las Vegas showgirl. 13 Action News stepped in to help him find the woman's family.
"She was the quintessential showgirl," says Nathaniel Franco, who found the album.
The album did have a name inside: Renee Lee.
"She did Broadway in New York, and here in Las Vegas she did shows," says Franco.
13 Action News went to interview Franco about his discovery, but just as we were leaving to try to find the family, the family found us.
Turns out, Matthew Gucu was helping his dad clean out parts of his house, when his Aunt Renee's album got mixed up with the trash.
"We're really grateful this was found," says Gucu. "She was the ultimate entertainer, from Broadway to Las Vegas."
Renee's pictures are back with her family, thanks to a little bit of Lady Luck, and a neighbor understanding the importance of family history.
