Las Vegas-area foreclosure rates drop in January

Mortgage deliquency rate also down.

A new report from CoreLogic Tuesday shows foreclosure rates around Las Vegas are falling.

The foreclosure rate was 1.72 percent in January while it was 2.42 percent in January of 2015.

The local mortgage delinquency rate is also down from 4.53 percent in January 2016 from 5.92 percent in January of last year.
