Labor Day weekend will generate $400M for local economy

More than 315,000 people are expected in Las Vegas over Labor Day weekend, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

The holiday weekend is expected to generate $400M for our local economy. 

It will also mean a lot more cars on the road. According to the Nevada Department of Transportation, about 60 percent (180,000) people who travel to Las Vegas for the weekend arrive in private vehicles.
