Korean Air cancels flights between Las Vegas and Seoul

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Korean Air, a major airline with flights between Las Vegas and Seoul, has suspended all flights between the two cities.

As of now the flights affected were scheduled between March 9 and April 25.

“The bigger fear is probably if lots of Asian nations stop flying here," says Anthony Curtis, travel expert.

Curtis owns Las Vegas Advisor, and says the impact of flights only from Seoul being canceled may not have a huge impact on tourism.

"If you’re looking at the number of passengers that come from korea, it equates like those with passengers from Louisville or Fresno," Curtis said.

But, Curtis also said if Korean Air or other airlines start to suspend more flights from other Asian nations, that could change.
