With the election heading up in Nevada, kids got a chance to make their voices heard.
KidVention in Henderson filled an area full of more than 1,000 elementary and middle school students from across the valley to listen to debates between high schoolers and local politicians on different issues.
After hearing the pros and cons, they got to cast their votes.
The issues covered everything from limiting time on video games to whether to U.S. should stop using the penny.
Kids said they're now energized to get involved in the political process, and some said they wished they were old enough to vote.
