Residents at a local apartment complex are heated up that they cannot cool off in their apartment pool after work.
If you go to the Gloria Park Villas, residents say the pool will be the first thing you see.
"I know that when they bring people in to rent new units here, the first thing they do is show them that pool," said Chris Cuthrell, who has lived there for a year.
The pool was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when Cuthrell and his wife moved in. They said it drew them to the property and they are not the only ones upset about the new hours.
"Come 5 o'clock the locks go on and thats it; no more getting in the pool," said Stephen Thurmond, who has lived there for about three years.
Thurmond said the pool is only open from 9-5, the same hours as the leasing office.
"I'd just like to see them open the pool back up and quit the baby games," said Thurmond.
13 Action News crews went to the leasing office. The assistant manager on duty said they closed the pool because some people were breaking pool rules.
She promised us the pool would go back to being 24/7 next week.
We will be sure to follow up and make sure they keep their promise.
