Police are looking for two men who got away with cash from a tavern in North Las Vegas.

Around 5 a.m. Wednesday, two men and a woman came into Miz Lola's in North Las Vegas at Losee and Centennial Parkway. Surveillance video shows the woman turn around and leave. But Director of Operations Jeffery Rathjen said she came in alone a few minutes before.

"(She) Came up to the counter, the bartender approached her to card her, as is policy, didn't have an ID so she was asked to leave, she left," said Rathjen. "A few minutes later she showed back up with two gentlemen, this time carrying a purse."

Rathjen said the bartender assumed she went and got her ID- and that's when the two men with her got out their guns. The man in blue pointed the gun at the bartender while the man in black jumped over the bar and stared rummaging through the drawers. Still, Rathjen said his bartender did exactly what he' supposed to do.

"Hands up an comply to whatever their requests are," said Rathjen. "There's no reason to try to fight them...We just comply with their request."

Running a 24-hour tavern, Rathjen said this kind of thing can happen, so you just have to make sure the staff is prepared.
But he wanted to talk with us to make sure others in the area know this happened and know who to look for!

"If it happened to us, someone down the street knows about it," he said. "It's just a matter of trying to keep everybody aware and safe."

Rathjen said no one was hurt, but he would not tell us how much cash the robbers got away with. The case is being handled by North Las Vegas police.
