LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Global Gaming Expo is back at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
The event brings exhibitors from all over the world to showcase their latest technology in gaming and video.
Andrew Cammegh, director of UK gaming company Cammegh, says his team does not miss this annual Vegas event.
"We do three shows a year. One a Macau, London and this one in Vegas. This one is the biggest on the calendar. And this the most enjoyable one and it's fantastic," Cammegh said.
The 30-year-old company not only makes 60 percent of the roulette wheels on the Strip but it is also looking to add more betting options to the game itself.
"We can offer bets above the traditional payouts of 35-1 with a flat bet. Using this game feature we offer 400-1 to 100-1," Cammegh said.
These European bets, or spread bets, as the company calls them, can also be used for higher payouts in the game of blackjack.
Joris Dubois, managing director with Cammegh, says the team is looking at bringing its popular UK betting options to the US.
"We are here at G2E to also see if there’s interest in our games and we believe so as they are doing very good in the European markets," Dubois said.
He also said some of the blackjack spread bet options can pay the player up to 300 times their bet.
"We have a twins game. It is a very easy game. You just bet if your card is the same as the dealer’s card. If you have a five and the dealer has a five then you win. Plus, you'll have a chance of winning up to 300 times your bet," Dubios said.
G2E 2019 is in full swing and continues until Oct. 17.
