Firefighters found flames and smoke coming from a vacant house. The fire was put out within minutes. The fire is believed to have been started by squatters.

"I've never been so close to a fire like this," 79 year-old said Ella Mae Toney, "it's scary."
Toney has lived in the home next door since 1970.
"I worked on my job 40 years, accumulate the house of my job," she said.
Toney is relieved firefighters were able to prevent the flames from spreading to her property.
Her son, Lorenzo Barry, is also grateful but for another reason.
"I'm just glad my mom is still alive," said Barry, "thank the firemen for doing their job, they did a wonderful, wonderful job."
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
