Shots were fired in a northwest Las Vegas neighborhood Wednesday evening but no injuries were reported.

However, police said two houses and a vehicle were hit in the incident at the intersection of Green Frost and Summersprings drives, near Fort Apache and Gowan roads, around 6:50 p.m.

According to police, a four-door blue or silver vehicle drove by and an unknown suspect fired 7 to 8 shots toward a group of black males. No person was hit.

"I think it's awful. Whoever did it needs to be caught and stopped because I have a little innocent grand-baby in here and he could've gotten hit," said Marva Cox. Cox says one of the men running away from the gunfire jumped her fence and crushed her air conditioning unit.

At the scene, 13 Action News found evidence markers on several homes and even a van with two flattened tires. The van's owner said it was due to gunshots.

The investigation is ongoing.
