A Henderson mom turns to 13 Action News after her home is suddenly flooded with sewage.

"The house is full of crap literally," said Lizette Alicea.

The incident happened Sunday at the property near Water Street and Pacific Avenue.

Cell phone video shows the smelly problem in the bathroom, hallway, and the children's rooms.

Right now, the City of Henderson is investigating what caused the blockage in a sewer line.

"I didn't think I was going to get emotional, but I did," said Alicea.

Alicea says all of her family's belongings are gone. She says her family didn't cause this plumbing issue.

The city says they immediately took action. They are paying for the massive cleanup.

Meanwhile, officials are reminding the public that only toilet paper should be flushed down the drain.

Issues arise when families flush other items such as baby wipes or kitty litter.

Alicea says it is unclear when she will be able to move back home.

"We don't even have a timeline yet," she said.
