The Henderson Fire Department will conduct live burn training February 19-27 at a vacant single-story house located on the north side of Galleria Drive east of Moser Drive.
Firefighters will practice fire suppression techniques and observe structural fire behaviors during controlled burn scenarios.
Nearby residents and motorists in the area may see heavy smoke and flames coming from the direction of the Henderson Animal Care and Control Facility between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The training will not be open to the public and casual observers are asked to avoid the area.
