NEVADA (KTNV) — Rangers recently came across 5 abandoned guinea pigs.
The animals were left at the Desert National Wildlife Refuge, north of the valley.
Had the animals not been rescued, rangers say they would've died.
If you have any animals you are no longer able to care for, you should contact a shelter or agency instead of abandoning them.
