The Great Nevada Shakeout is happening on Oct. 15.
People across the valley, including employees of the city of North Las Vegas and some schools, will be participating.
Participating is a great way for your family or organization to become prepared to survive and recover quickly from a big earthquake.
The statewide drill will take place at 10:15 a.m.
