A Las Vegas valley grandmother is heartbroken after her home was burglarized just days after it caught fire.
Pat Richardson didn't think it could get any worse after a massive fire near Charleston and Lamb boulevards destroyed a portion of her home on Memorial Day.
Richardson says she didn't get a chance to see what was left in the home before burglars made their way in first.
“I just fall apart. My granddaughter has taken me in, the whole family has been disrupted and its just difficult,” says Richardson. “I just want to go back to my home – I had my life on the other side of town.”
Richardson now fears the worst. She believes several family belongings that may have survived the fire are now stolen.
The family has set up a GoFundMe to help Pat get back on her feet.
