Governor Brian Sandoval has ordered flags to half-staff beginning immediately until sunset March 26 as a mark of respect for the victims of the attacks in Brussels, Belgium.
Sandoval released the following statement:
“The State of Nevada stands with the people of Brussels and the hundreds of victims of today’s senseless and tragic attack. I have ordered the Division of Emergency Management, Office of Homeland Security and Department of Public Safety to remain vigilant in the wake of these horrific attacks. Our state authorities will continue to actively monitor the situation and remain in constant communication with our local and federal partners. ”
The High Roller was also lit Tuesday to the colors of the Belgium flag to remember the victims ofTuesday's attacks.
