Nevada gas prices remain the third highest in the nation, but prices went down $0.13 per gallon in one month according to a AAA fuel report of July 12.

State prices average $2.44 per gallon, with Reno paying an average price of $2.65 per gallon and Carson City residents paying the lowest price at $2.31 per gallon.

The Silver State experienced the third largest year-over-year decline in the nation (-77 cents) due to abundant supplies of gasoline and relatively few refinery issues.

The national average price of regular unleaded gasoline is $2.12 per gallon, the lowest price since 2004.
