Las Vegas Fire & Rescue was able to determine an incident at the federal courthouse downtown Friday evening was due to a light fixture.
Crews initially responded to 333 S. Las Vegas Blvd. in downtown Las Vegas after hearing reports of a loud noise. No smoke or flame was showing when firefighters arrived.
Once they arrived, firefighters checked the whole building and eventually found arcing wires in a light fixture on the first floor.
There was no fire damage and no injuries.
