A family is overjoyed after they were reunited with their beloved Husky puppy who they say was stolen from their front yard.
A 9-year-old girl was distraught when she found out her puppy was missing and her emotional reaction was caught on camera.
In the video, you can see Celine Cotino collapse to the ground over the news of her alleged stolen dog. She holds her heart and says Bella is the only dog she can live with.
Yulena Castillo says Bella was stolen from the front yard after she dug a hole in the backyard and escaped. A neighbor witnessed someone putting Bella in their car and told Castillo a description of the person and the vehicle.
For five days, Castillo drove around looking for the matching car. She finally found it and heard Bella whining inside. She called the police.
After a few hours of investigating, police walked outside with Bella and returned her to Castillo.
"I just opened my car door, and I went onto my knees," she said. "I started calling her crying like I can't believe my dog is back because she is part of my family."
Castillo thought up a plan to hide Bella in the bathroom when her daughter got home from school so she could catch her reaction to the puppy's return home.
In the video, Castillo has her daughter turn around to see her dog. Cotino falls to the floor and repeatedly yells, "Bella's alive!"
Her mom asks why she is crying. Cotino says, "These are happy tears!"
No charges were filed against the person accused of taking Bella from the family's property.
