A fact-finding review is a review of any shooting involving Las Vegas police. Fact-finding reviews replaced a process previously known as "coroner's inquest." It take place at the Clark County Government Center.

The District Attorney's officer will present witnesses and make a presentation of the essential facts surrounding the shooting. Questions are allowed after the presentation. The purpose of the review is to provide the public and related family with relevant information about the use of force. No formal determination about the manner or cause of death is rendered at fact-finding reviews.
