So far critics reviews have been mixed, but the people 13 Action News spoke with after one of the early screenings said they were satisfied with the film.

"I really liked it, " said Jamie Hutson. "It was a lot going on! To end the whole series after all this time they had to pack a whole bunch into one movie."

Hutson described himself as a Star Wars "lifer" and said he felt it was a good final chapter for the saga that has captivated fans for generations.

Brie Nelson was careful not reveal spoilers and admitted she had only recently watched all the previous films.

"It was great! I really liked it, "Nelson said. "I thought it blended all the old Star Wars stuff and the new Star Wars stuff really well."
