Residents concerned about dangerous road

13 Action News is helping to bring about change after some people in a valley neighborhood called us in October about changes to a dangerous road.
Over the past few weeks, changes at Desert Inn and Theme Road were implemented. However, there is still work to be done.
The county added some signage and installed 2 stop signs to prevent accidents.
Not even the presence of our cameras and Senator Mark Manendo prevented drivers from breaking the law.
"Since I pulled up, maybe 1 out of 5 cars makes a complete stop. 3 out of 5 will do some kind of roll," said Senator Manendo.
People who live nearby told us there are lots of drivers who forget to stop.
At night, some drivers said they couldn't even see the stop sign.
So now, people who live nearby say it's time to try something new.
"Take the stop sign away and finish the road toward Hollywood," said one driver.
"That road has been planned," said the county. It's going to take about 2 years to finish.
