Las Vegas police arrested a man they say tried to rob a bank near Nellis Boulevard and Bonanza Road when a group of customers stopped him.
It happened around 10:45 this morning at a Wells Fargo full of customers.
Police say a man went inside armed with gun and passed a note to a teller demanding money. Witnesses say he also told people not to move.
One witness tells 13 Action News that's when another customer with a concealed gun pointed it at the man while 2 other men tackled him to the ground, holding him down until police arrived.
Police are praising the actions of those customers, saying they put themselves in a dangerous situation to keep others safe.
Customers inside are all OK and are thanking the three quick-thinking heroes.
The suspect was taken into custody. Police and the FBI are investigating the case.
