A woman was stabbed on Monday morning near Bruce Street and East Karen Avenue.
It was reported at 10:20 a.m. in the 2600 block of South Bruce Street.
The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital in unknown condition.
Police initially said that a male suspect had barricaded himself inside an apartment and refused to come outside. At approximately 11:30 a.m., police told the press that the man is dead. It appears that he killed himself.
The Clark County coroner will release name of man after relatives have been notified.
