A local woman's cell phone and debit card were recently stolen as she was trying to decide what to order for lunch at a local restaurant.
Surveillance video shows a young man lingering near Nicole Posey as she looked at a menu. When he determines she is not paying attention to him, he snatches her phone and debit card and bolts out a door. It happened at China One near Rainbow and Charleston boulevards. However, it could happen anywhere.
The victim says that she learned the hard way to always be aware and doesn't understand why someone would steal something she worked so hard for.
She has filed a police report and hopes that sharing her story will help others and help police catch the thief.
