NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Two middle school students were arrested Thursday for bringing a BB gun onto a North Las Vegas school campus, according to the Clark County School District Police Department.

CCSPD Sgt. Bryan Zink said a student brought the weapon to Sedway Middle School, located near Gowan Road and Revere Street, and then gave it to another student. However, another student alerted a staff member of the BB gun and that person notified school police.

Both students were then arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon on school property and transferred to a juvenile detention center.
