One person was hurt during a possible road rage-related shooting Sunday morning.

Police said around 7:48 a.m., there was a car crash near Eastern and Karen avenues. An occupant in one of the vehicles shot the occupant of the other vehicle.

The victim ran into a restaurant near the intersection for help.

"We sat him down and he was so nervous. He was freaking out," said restaurant employee Ruben. "He told me, 'I can't die. It hurts.' I said, 'Cops are on the way. I can't do no more.'"

In surveillance video, the victim walks into the restaurant and takes off his shirt, revealing where his injury was. Employees said the man didn't say anything about what happened and just kept repeating that he had been shot.

The restaurant was closed for a few hours while things were cleaned up.

The person was later transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The suspect fled the scene.
