A neighborhood in Mountain's Edge is the latest target of thieves after multiple cars were broken into Tuesday morning.

Las Vegas police said they received 4 reports of burglaries in the Sterling Ridge subdivision, near El Capitan Way and Mountains Edge Parkway, Tuesday.

One of the victims was Joe Ortolani who said the thieves got away with his wallet.

"All my credit cards, driver's license and important stuff," Ortolani said.

Ortolani said he did file a report with police, but other neighbors are instead turning to social media for help.

"At latest count there have been about 6 to 8 reports of people being broken into," said Joseph Valle, who runs Sterling Ridge's neighborhood watch.

Valle is urging people to turn to police in order to help reduce crime in the neighborhood, but others like Ortolani believe social media has helped.

"We're able to communicate and found out things much faster," Ortolani said.

Police urge people to report all crimes to them as well.
