EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Victim in road rage shares his story

NORTHEAST LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Salvador Calderon only spoke to 13 Action News about the road rage incident he almost lost his life in, he was shot at least eight times Monday morning.

Police say Calderon's truck was shot repeatedly near Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road shortly after 2 a.m. when the he inadvertently cut off another driver.

Calderon showed 13 Action News the two bullets he believes could have killed him.

One bullet hit the driver's door, the second went through the passenger seat and into the dashboard.

Calderon feels he is a victim of road rage because he says he has no enemies and keeps to himself; he does admits he could've upset the gunmen.

"I don't know him or why else that happened," says Calderon.

That other pick up truck driver pulled up beside Calderon and said something he could not understand, he only speaks Spanish.

The driver who was cut off then followed him to his residence on San Antonio Avenue near Pecos Road and started shooting at Calderon while he was still in his vehicle.

"I got under my steering wheel, I took cover," says Calderon.

Calderon miraculously was not injured. Police are still looking for the shooter.

"If i were to see him, I'm sure I could identify him," says Calderon.
