A Nye County judge revoked George Papania's probation, sending him to prison for 2 to 5 years.

According to court documents, his landlord reported to probation officers that Papania had been making unwanted sexual advances on his roommates and was keeping a gun in his room.

ORIGINAL STORY

NYE COUNTY (KTNV) -- A dog breeder who was the focus of a Contact 13 investigation is back behind bars.

George Papania was arrested for a probation violation after he was found with a firearm. He was found guilty of animal torture earlier this year.

Papania was convicted after Nye County Animal Control discovered he was keeping greyhounds in horrible conditions. Many of those dogs died. Prosecutors also said he left the dead animals in the same kennels as the ones that were still alive.

Papania is expected back in court Monday.
