A man is accused of sexually assaulting another man at a downtown Las Vegas hotel-casino this week.

According to the police report, the victim told police that a man approached him on Fremont Street saying he had a free room for him because he was drunk. The victim had got separated from his girlfriend and friend during the Las Rageous music festival.

The victim assumed the man was with hotel security and video surveillance had shown security officers around him at the time the suspect approached.

Surveillance also showed the victim walking in with the man to the casino bar before going to a hotel elevator.

According to the police report, the victim said once they were in the hotel room, the suspect forced him to get undressed. The victim told police, "He forced me down on the bed and he said that he was going to hurt me if I didn't do what he said."

The police report details that the suspect eventually raped the victim.

When the victim later left the hotel room hours later, he told police that the suspect said, "Be cool about this. Don't say anything to anyone."

According to the police report, the victim then approached security and told them what happened.

After reviewing surveillance, police were able to identify Austin as the suspect. He has no Nevada arrest history but had a criminal history in California and Utah.

Austin was booked in Clark County Detention Center on seven counts of sexual assault and kidnapping.
