Man arrested after robbery spree Thursday in southwest Las Vegas

Police are investigating a spree of four armed robberies Thursday morning in southwest Las Vegas.

Three suspects have been taken into custody as a result.

The first robbery was reported around 5:45 a.m. at 9265 S. Cimarron Road, near Blue Diamond Road, at the Kwik-E Mart.

The second was at a 7-Eleven at 8180 Blue Diamond Road, near Cimarron Road, around 9:25 a.m.

The third robbery was around 11 a.m. at Speedee Mart at 10490 S. Decatur Blvd., near Cactus Avenue.

The final one was reported around 11:45 a.m. at 8594 Blue Diamond Road, near Durango Drive, which is a Terrible Herbst.

During all four robberies, police said the suspect, who was described as a black man in his 20s, entered the stores with a small firearm and demanded money.

He fled in a dark 2008 Hyundai sedan with front rear damage and temporary Nevada tags. Police were able to track down the Hyundai shortly after the fourth robbery near Blue Diamond Road and Durango Drive.

The main suspect has been booked on a robbery with a deadly weapon charge. There were two other suspects in the vehicle, a man and a woman, who were booked on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Their identities have not been released at this time.
