Mauricio Paras is facing child abuse charges after allegedly punching the 3-year-old daughter of his girlfriend in the stomach.
The incident happened on Feb. 21 in the 4100 block of Channel 10 Drive, near Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue.
According to an arrest report for Paras, the mother found her child unconscious when she came hom efrom work.
The mother took the child to a local hospital, where staff reported the alleged abuse to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Paras reportedly told police that he squeezed the little girl too hard. The report also said that he punched the little girl's 5-year-old brother in the past.
