LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says Maria Gutierrez has been arrested and accused of performing "vampire" facials illegally.
The procedure involves taking blood from a patient, separating it, and putting it back into the face with needles.
According to the arrest report, police received a call from a doctor who treated a patient after she allegedly got a "vampire" facial from Gutierrez.
The doctor told police Gutierrez wasn't a licensed registered nurse.
Gutierrez was arrested one day after undercover detectives scheduled an appointment with her.
Police indicate she admitted to not having a license.
