The suspect, John Howard Baehtlein, is being held on a second degree kidnapping charge, according to the Lafayette (Colorado) Police Department.

Just days after a woman who was allegedly kidnapped in California was found in Las Vegas, another man could be bringing his ex-girlfriend to Las Vegas.
Police in Lafayette, Colorado, say that 75-year-old John Howard Baehtlein kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, 67-year-old Alexis Carol, from a senior assisted living center in Lafayette.
It is believed that the couple may be headed to Las Vegas.
Police say they may be traveling in a white, Ford 4-door truck with Oregon license plates.
