Former Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow was sentenced to one month in prison, three months in a halfway house, and eight months of house arrest for scheming to steal tens of thousands of dollars of campaign money in 2015.
The 46-year-old Barlow was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Andrew P. Gordon on July 20 following a guilty plea earlier this year. On April 24, he pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud.
On top of his prison term, Barlow must also pay a fine of $66,125 and serve three years of supervised release.
