Cliven Lance Bundy, son of Bunkerville rancher, arrested in Henderson

HENDERSON (KTNV) — Cliven Lance Bundy, who goes by Lance, has been arrested by the Henderson Police Department.

He is the son of Cliven Bundy, the cattle rancher who faced off with armed federal agents several years ago in Bunkerville.

Two years after his father’s confrontation with federal agents over grazing rights, brothers Ammon and Ryan Bundy were involved with a government protest occupation at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon.

This isn’t Lance Bundy’s first brush with the law. In 2013, he was sentenced to 5 years of probation on felony weapon and burglary charges. In 2015, he was sentenced to prison after he missed court dates and failed to meet other conditions of his probation.

Police say he's facing a couple of charges including resisting police and violating a domestic violence protective order.
