14-year-old Las Vegas boy charged with murder after October shooting

A 14-YEAR-OLD BOY HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH MURDER IN CONNECTION TO THE DEATH OF AN 18-YEAR-OLD MAN ON OCTOBER 26, 2018. — A 14-year-old boy has been charged with murder in connection to the death of an 18-year-old man on October 26, 2018.

It happened near Pecos Road and Carey Avenue. The victim, identified as Aaron Rodriguez, was shot several times and was found lying in the road. He was transported to University Medical Center where he died.

The boy has been identified as Miguel Magallon. He appeared in court on March 15, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal. He was certified as an adult on March 4.

Magallon is facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm within a structor or vehicle. A status hearing for negotiations in the case was set for April 16, according to the newspaper.

An arrest report for Magallon has not been released at this time.
