Studies underway for how COVID-19 may affect male fertility

A new study is looking into how COVID-19 may impact male fertility. The research was just published in the journal Reproduction.

It shows that men who recovered from severe cases of COVID experienced a drop in sperm quality, which could make it harder for them to have children.

Doctors say more research is required because previous studies have shown men who suffer from severe flu cases or other viruses experience the same thing, but it's often temporary.
