(KTNV) — Two billion doses by the end of the year.
Pfizer says that's the goal at least as they work to ramp up production and global distribution of their COVID-19 vaccine.
Today's number is well over the 1.3 billion doses previously mentioned.
So where's this new number coming from? Part of it has to do with a label correction.
The labels initially said each vial had five doses, but it was discovered there was actually enough for six doses.
As of yesterday, more than 32 million doses have shipped around the world.
