LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — In some parts of the country, the biggest challenge surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine isn't distribution, but misinformation circulating online.
Ever since the development of a vaccine doctors say they have been getting questions.
While some are legit others are based on claims and conspiracies making their rounds on social media.

Immunize Nevada executive director Heidi Parker gets lots of questions too. She works for a nonprofit focused on combatting misinformation in Nevada.
It might sound obvious but Parker says pushing out accurate information through credible sources - like doctors and physicians - is the best way forward.
The Silver State has some of the lowest immunization rates among adults in the country.
