The small community is barely visible from the road. The wood and plastic shelters are surrounded by coolers, chairs and clothes.
"I had no idea of the situation," said homeowner Shawnna Sharmaynne.
Tom Schwob, who has lived in a nearby apartment complex for three years, has never spotted the camp either.
"It's a complete shock to me," he said.

Neighbors want to know how many people live in the camp.
"I'd like to prevent it before it gets worse," said Sharmaynne.
13 Action News got in touch with Clark County officials late Tuesday night. Spokesman Dan Kulin is looking into the particular site. The county will send an outreach team to assist the homeless.
