Gov. Brian Sandoval and a special committee are taking steps to deal with the prescription drug crisis in Nevada.
On Tuesday, the committee heard presentations from industry experts along with a recovering addict who said intervention needs to start early.
"I wish the school district or the hospital maybe stepped in when I was younger."
The committee will use the information Tuesday to build an agenda for a two-day summit in August.
