LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District says it has received reports of some people receiving phishing phone calls by numbers that appear to be connected to CCSD.

These calls are not being made by the school district and appear to be a third-party spoofing caller ID - using robocalls to attempt to phish and demand payment.

The district also says it would not demand payment by phone and it is aware of this matter and is investigating.

If anyone receives such a phone call please disregard it, according to CCSD.
