It's been a little more than a year since pedicabs were brought back to Las Vegas. The companies tell us, it's been going great for the most part and passengers love it.

But recently, riders have been faced with citations due to the city cracking down on some rules that were in place when the operation was brought back to town.

"We are not technically allowed to stop in any of the loading zones or otherwise we can get a citation," said Gilbery Galarza with Sin City Cycle Cabs.

Galarza loves his job and is grateful the city of Las Vegas has been working with him and his fellow riders to keep this charming way to get around in existence. He just wishes there was a way they could stop to take breaks and stop to speak with potential customers.

"We still get business but it makes it very difficult not to be able to stop, have some rest, and actually be able to talk to people instead of just constantly moving," he said.

The city says they are working with the pedicab companies to maybe make some changes in the near future but in the mean time, the laws will be enforced.
